Sister R. Moore: Hope

Here is an excerpt from Sister R. Moore’s recent letter home:

Lucky for me, this transfer our mission is focusing on the Christlike attribute of HOPE. And I read this quote this week from Neal A. Maxwell that really struck me:

“While weak hope leaves us at the mercy of our moods and events, ‘brightness of hope’ produces illuminated individuals”

Isn’t that so cool, to think of yourself as an “illuminated individual”? As we strive to hope in the things God has already promised us, and enjoy the experiences he is giving us, life becomes illuminated and vibrant! Suddenly the rainy days were the perfect puddle jumping days and it was a lot easier to have a bounce in my steps. There is certainly nothing better than to happily serve the Lord!
