Sister E. Moore: Slow and Steady Progress

Here is an excerpt from Sister E. Moore’s recent letter home:

I went on an exchange to Rockville this week and it was so much fun! I enjoyed it so much. It is always good to be back in your old area, but it also was just a fantastic day of missionary work. We strived to talk to EVERYONE we saw and we found so many blessings from it. We found 4 new people who wanted to learn more about the gospel which is awesome because they have been struggling to find people. Also Stephanie, my first tracting miracle, committed to a baptismal date in May during the lesson we taught her. The spirit was so strong and she has already changed so much since the first day I met her, for example she was smoking a couple packs of cigarettes a day and she is down to one or none now. It is amazing to see how God can help anyone change!

The Pearsons came to church this week! It was so exciting, Wes has been inactive since he was 16 and Jamie hadn’t gone to church except when they were staying with Wes’s family. The boys LOVED primary! They have food allergies so Jamie was worried about not being with them. It was adorable when Conner came into relief society with a cheese it and asked Jamie if he could eat it. And when Jamie hugged me she said they were glad they came! We are so excited for them.
