Here is an excerpt from Elder J. Morgan’s recent letter home:
This past week I have been to the hospital a few times for getting rid of worms and also for pain that I had in my stomach. On Sunday, after I played the sacrament hymns, I had a sharp pain in my stomach. It had felt as if someone had stabbed me there, and the pain would not go away. I called Elder Edwards and he came to the church to check my abdomen. He couldn’t determine what was causing the pain, so we went to the hospital. They ran some tests, and everything came out normal. I learned though that I have a chance of developing Kidney Stones in the future :D!
Things could have been worse. After going to the hospital, the Edwards took me to their apartment so that I could rest a little bit. Eventually the pain went away. The Edwards reminded me about the parable of the good Samaritan in the Bible. The Edwards are from Canada, and I am so grateful for the Christ-like service that they gave, especially on a holiday such as Easter!
