Here is an excerpt from Elder J. Jarman’s recent letter home:
Hey all, nothing much to report this week. We got a cool new investigator but he’s Chinese so we’ll pass him off. His story’s pretty cool. Last Monday we were coming home from grocery shopping and while I was on the bus, this dude walked in. This guy just walks in and sits down. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, I feel prompted to talk to him. Nothing major, just a feeling. Except that I very rarely talk while we’re on the bus, and it’s Preparation day and I’m loaded with groceries. So I go stand by the exit, and I’m now close to this guy. He can read my badge. I say hi, and we start talking. He’s now our most progressing investigator.
