Here is an excerpt from Sister R. Moore’s recent letter home:
Our mission president switched which days transfers are this year, so we got calls and the transfer board this weekend. So Friday night we both got calls from President, and Sister Calvert is training!! Ah she is going to be so amazing! Definitely a proud mom (sorry for the missionary lingo). As for me? I am headed up to Louden County, the richest county in America…. In the Dulles YSA ward with Sister Hymas, who I went to high school with!!! Oh my goodness I am SO EXCITED. Seriously, I couldn’t even believe it. The ward basically covers the whole county, I believe. I don’t have many details today, but next week I am sure I will have plenty 🙂
So yesterday was my last Sunday in the Vienna ward, and yes I totally did have a break down- I could not even sing one word of the closing hymn. I have such a love for all of the people there, and I can’t believe it’s already been 6 months since I arrived. There is seriously no ward like the Vienna Ward, and it will always have a special place in my heart. It’s amazing how much you come to love those you serve. Heavenly Father seriously loves us SO MUCH. Wow, I’m so glad I got to feel a little bit of that here.
