Here is an excerpt from Elder J. Jarman’s recent letter home:
This week I’ve been reading a lot from the New Testament. There’s so much in Christ’s short, 3-year ministry! To read about the things he did, and the person he was makes me psyched to be out here, representing him. I’m so grateful for His help in this work. I know that on my own, there’s no way I could spend 11 hours in a classroom every day for 2 months without losing my mind. not only am I still mostly-sane, but I’ve even learned some Korean! I know that the Lord has blessed me with help in learning this language. I know that if I trust in Him, that I can be a tool in His hands. And I can’t wait to begin. I love you Brothers and sisters, and I’ll talk to ya next week.
