Sister I. Morgan: Last Testimony

Here is an excerpt from Sister I. Morgan’s last letter home. She returns home on Saturday, November 12 and will speak in church on Sunday, November 27.

Welcome home, Inna!!!

One of the things that I have learned about while being on my mission is my relationship with my heavenly father and my savior. I know that I am a daughter of my heavenly father who loves me and who knows me perfectly and he knows exactly what I need to do to help me to become the person he knows I can be. He knows and loves every single one of you. He is always there for us, only if we turn to him. Prayer is one of the ways we can strengthen our relationship with him and come closer to him. I know he hears and answers our prayers.

I am so grateful for my heavenly father for sending his only begotten son Jesus Christ down to this earth.  Only through our savior we can find peace, happiness, joy and hope. When we have faith in Him, especially in our hard times, our lives will be filled with light. We grow our faith by doing the small and simple things. I know that as we stay obedient to our covenants that we have made, we will receive greater blessings and see His hand in our lives.

I am so grateful for Joseph smith for restoring this church and translating the book of Mormon. The book of Mormon is true and is the evidence that the church of Jesus Christ of latter saints is the one and only true church on the earth. Only the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring you true happiness and joy.  For those who don’t know that or have forgotten, just ask heavenly father and I promise he will answer you. In the name if Jesus Christ amen.
