Here is an excerpt from Sister E. Moore’s recent letter home:
Guys I’m not even going to lie here, this has been one of the hardest weeks of my mission thus far. Almost every single one of our appointments canceled with all of our progressing investigators. We had a week full of finding and planning and cleaning out our area book (something Sister Ram and I neglected to do when we were in the area) and didn’t see hardly any success from it. I have never been so exhausted at the end of the day as I have multiple nights this week.
This week I read the talk “Mountains to Climb” by President Eyring and it was SO GOOD!!! Really though you should go read it. We are all going to have mountains to climb in our life, so we need to make sure we have a foundation of Faith in order to not fall. I know that God will put people in our path in his time and in his way. I know he is fully aware of my struggles, my companions struggles, and my investigators struggles. He knows what he wants me to learn and what trials I need in order to grow. And I trust Him. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, this work is IMPOSSIBLE without faith. It is only through Faith in Jesus Christ that true miracles happen.
