Here is some great advice on happiness from Sister E. Moore’s recent letter home.
Don’t worry, be happy. There are so many things in this life that can get us down if we let them, but we have the choice! We talked about this in district meeting this week and one sister said, “You can either have no investigators and be happy, or have no investigators and be upset. Either way you have no investigators, so you might as well be happy!” I loved that and I think it can be applied to other aspects of life as well. If you enjoy to the end, not just endure to the end, your life will be so much better.
That doesn’t mean it will be easy. For some people it is easy to be happy all the time, for others it’s not. For me it’s not always easy. But, as I pray to my Heavenly Father he gives me the strength and ability to see the good amidst the bad. And I am able to find so much more joy in my life because of that!
